Get Up, Get Out, and Enjoy Grapevine's GrapeFest 2015

Just because summer is winding down does not mean you should too. Whether you are from Grapevine, Lantana, Flower Mound or Highland Village; Grapevine’s 29th annual GrapeFest is the perfect topper to your summer activity list. Enjoy great wine, fantastic finds, live entertainment and family fun while relishing the beauty of Historic Downtown. Get the opportunity to sample Texas wines from across the state, Oregon wines that are not usually available in Texas, and high-end premium Argentinian wines. Go for the day or make it a weekend, there is more than enough activities and attractions to fill your time at the largest wine festival in the Southwest.

Ready to get your game on? There are several events for adults and children. Take the kids to play at KidsWorld or take on the GrapeStomp. Put your skills to the test in the GrapeFest Golf & Tennis Classics or the Champagne Cork Shoot Off. Or relax and enjoy the ItalianCarFest, Texas Wine Tribute, or take part in the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation, the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic. There will also be 3 stages of live music to make sure there is never a dull moment in your GrapeFest experience. To prepare you for this event-filled weekend you may want to fill up at one of the 4 pre-festival wine dinners featuring food designed specifically to enhance the wine experience.

Bring your kiddos with you! No sense in leaving them at home, there is something for everyone at GrapeFest. Step inside KidsWorld where kids can get up close and personal with creatures from SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium and build up some fun with LEGOLAND Discovery Center. There are also games to be played and prizes to be won throughout the 4 day festival. Light up the night with unlimited ride passes for the Carnival & Midway. It is impossible for a kid to be bored!

Along with the countless events, games and entertainment offered, Historical Downtown has tons of things to explore. Dive into the culture of the town through the numerous boutiques and shops, fantastic vendors at the Grapevine Marketplace, talented artisans, historical museums and exhibits, and don’t forget about the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. This preserved historic area is not just a location, but more of a destination. It will be easy to lose track of time here.

If you are a wine connoisseur or just here to have a good time GrapeFest 2015 has it all; wine, craft beers, festival foods, and lots of fun. Just down the road from the beauty of your Lantana home you can find culture and entertainment for a fabulous weekend the whole family will enjoy.
