3 Local Easter Egg Hunts in Flower Mound, Denton and Argyle
Easter is just a few days away, and that means Peter Cottontail will be paying a visit to all your little chickadees! If you’re still searching around for some fun Easter plans, look no further because we have you covered. Here in Southern Denton County and in surrounding areas like Flower Mound, Denton and Argyle, there are plenty of opportunities for youngsters to hunt for eggs and indulge on sweet treats. Take a look at our local event list below:
The City of Argyle will be hosting their 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th from 11am to 1pm at Argyle High School. The event will include a lot of fun games for kids of all ages, including an inflatable bounce house. As a bonus, if you bring a canned good for donation, your kid will eat free! For adults, there will be food trucks on the premise. All donations collected will be given to the Argyle Food Bank. We’d say it’s a win-win for your Lantana family at this fun event.
2. Flower Mound
Hop on over to our neighbors in Flower Mound for this unique Easter event. On April 4th from 10am to noon, there will be an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at the Community Activity Center located at 1200 Gerault Rd. Activities will include arts and crafts, a visit from the Easter bunny himself and games. Stick around to swim in the pool afterwards. The cost is $6 per child.
The Lantana master-planned community is a part of Denton County, so why not make the drive to Denton to celebrate Easter? The Denton Civic Center will be having an Easter Egg-stravaganza on April 4th beginning at 11:30am. If you miss the egg hunt, don’t fret! In addition to games and crafts, there will also be a magic show for toddlers through fifth graders. The event is free, but concessions will also be sold.
